About The State Planning Commission

The State Planning Commission (SPC) was constituted in Tamil Nadu on 25th May 1971 under the Chairmanship of the Hon’ble Chief Minister as an Advisory Body to make recommendations to the Government on various matters pertaining to the development of the State.
